Let tea bags steep for 10 minutes. Discard tea bags. Let cool.
Meanwhile, place the strawberries in a blender and puree. Strain into a pitcher. Stir in the tea, sugar, and lemon juice until sugar is dissolved. Taste and add more sugar, if you wish.
Serve in glasses over ice. Garnish with lemon slices and berries.
Notes
This fruit infused sweet tea will last for up to three days in the fridge.
What if I’m caffeine free? No problem at all! There are tons of decaf versions of both black or green tea on the market. Alternately, you can swap in hibiscus.
If fresh strawberries are in short supply, reach for a bag of frozen berries. Simply allow them to defrost before blending and straining.
Avoiding refined sugar? Feel free to swap in honey, agave syrup, monkfruit, or stevia instead.
