Based on my late mother-in-law’s fresh cranberry relish, my Spicy Sweet Cranberry Jalapeño Dip with Cream Cheese is the perfect appetizer for any holiday gathering. As a bonus, it takes just five minutes of active time – Merry Christmas to YOU!

Ingredients

Steps 1-2  – In a food processor, pulse cranberries. – In a medium-sized bowl, add chopped cranberries, green onion, and jalapeños.

Steps 3-4 – Add sugar, lime juice, and salt and stir gently until blended. – Refrigerate dip covered for four hours or overnight.

Steps 5-6 – Take cranberry mixture out of the refrigerator and stir and strain liquid using a colander. Add cilantro. – Place cream cheese and crackers on platter with bowl of cranberry mixture.

Step 7 – Spread cream cheese on a cracker and dollop with cranberry dip. Enjoy!
