Cascarones Video
Its Easter week — Have you been saving eggshells to make cascarones (confetti eggs)? I need to collect some more because we made cascarones early to make this video. I think I’ll be making frittatas for dinner this week to collect more shells to have enough for Easter Sunday. I’ll be hosting Easter this year so I really need to be prepared.
As you can see in this video my children and I had a blast coloring eggshells, filling them with paper confetti, hiding them, and cracking them over each other’s heads. I’m cracking up as I type this just thinking of all the fun we had and the amounts of confetti we had in our hair and other unmentionable places.
My children look forward to making cascarones every year. Making them with my children truly brings back wonderful Easter memories. I encourage you to gather some friends and family and host a cascarones-making party. It’s always so much fun to see each person’s creativity during egg-coloring time. For detailed instructions be sure to read How to Make Cascarones.
I hope you enjoy this video as much as I do. I now have this memory of my children encapsulated in this video as a keepsake that I will treasure always.
Have fun this Easter season creating and making memories with your loved ones. Happy Easter!
