I hope you all had a lovely Labor Day weekend. We grilled burgers and simply relaxed. Now its time to get back in the swing of things and get creative in the kitchen with after school snacks.

Do your kids get out of school starving like mine do? When I pick up my kids from school I usually have some type of snack waiting for them in the car and lately its been toast, but not ordinary toast – toasts topped with flavorful and healthy ingredients. It’s a great after school snack before I take them to their practices or games. I’m sure you’ve seen the avocado toast obsession; well I think we need to start the strawberry toast craze.
