Tortas de Pavo y Aguacate (Turkey and Avocado Sandwich)
Thanksgiving is over and you are left with turkey leftovers. Our number one lunch meal after Thanksgiving are tortas. A simple, quick, and tasty torta — no recipe required.
Leftover turkey makes wonderful sandwiches, Mexican style. Use bolillos or French sandwich rolls. Toast the bolillo with butter on the comal (skillet); add mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, turkey, avocado, Muenster cheese, red onions, and a fresh jalapeno on the side. Fácil!
