Cocktails for Summer Entertaining

I am so excited summer is officially here. You can bet that I’ll be hosting lots of dinner parties and backyard cookouts. When I host a party I usually serve a signature cocktail. Sure there are times when I keep it simple and serve beer or wine, but more often than not I like to serve a fun cocktail.

I recently produced a summer cocktail video series and wanted to share the video recipes with you. The best part is that these cocktails are low in calories too…bonus!

Sangria a la Mexicana — This sangria is slightly different than traditional sangria made with brandy. This sangria is made with tequila and contains no sugar. Spanish video.

Reposado Paloma — Traditionally Paloma’s are made with grapefruit soda and tequila. This one is all natural made with fresh grapefruit juice, fresh lime juice, tequila, and a splash of club soda. It doesn’t get more refreshing than that. Spanish video.

Agua de Valencia — This drink is from Spain and similar to a mimosa but with the addition of gin and vodka. It makes for a delicious brunch cocktail. Spanish video.

Moscow Mule — This cocktail is super trendy and I now know why. Holy amaze balls! The simple combination of ginger beer, lime juice, and vodka is magical served in a chilled copper mug. Spanish video.
