Who is ready for the big game? To be honest, I am more excited about the halftime show. Two spicy Latinas on stage โ JLo and Shakira. Itโs going to be epic!
And speaking of spicyโฆI can never resist spicy chicken wings โ they are like nachos, I just canโt say no to them. When I have the craving for chicken wings, I have to run to buy or make some.
This recipe for baked chicken wings is super convenient because all you need is Kroger bone-in chicken party wings, hot sauce, butter, and a dash of worcestershire sauce. Thatโs it!
This convenient and easy recipe is key to keeping the focus on the game, (half time show or commercials) and not on any stress that may come from being the ultimate โsuperโ host.
Kroger has all your favorite, ready-to-eat party foods that your guests can enjoy during the Big Game!
And because my theme is spicy! Letโs have some fun with a mild and spicy wing sauce โ Mild for Weaklings and Fuego Hot Sauce.
How to Make Restaurant-Style Buffalo Wing Sauce
Melt some butter in a saucepan and then stir in hot sauce. I selected Valentina Mexican Hot Sauce which is readily available at King Soopers for a Latin twist, but if youโd like to try a traditional hot sauce use Frankโs Red Hot.
Mild Buffalo Wing Sauce (Mild for Weaklings)
This buffalo wing sauce recipe is mild. Itโs the easiest and best sauce and made with only 3-ingredients.
- 8 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup Valentina Mexican Hot Sauce or Franks Red Hot
- Dashworcestershire sauce
Spicy Buffalo Wing Sauce (Fuego Hot Sauce)
This buffalo wing sauce is similar to the mild sauce, but made with less butter and more hot sauce, plus the addition of a couple of toasted garlic cloves, chile de arbol peppers, and fresh lime juice. This can be made spicier to suit your spice tolerance.
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 14 ounces Valentina Mexican Hot Sauce or Franks Red Hot
- Dashworcestershire sauce
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 to 3 chiles de arbol
- 1 lime wedge
How to Store Homemade Buffalo Sauce
If you have leftover sauce, keep it in the refrigerator for up to three days. The sauce will thicken in the refrigerator. Reheat for about 30 seconds in the microwave or slowly on the stove over a low burner.

Disagree with the instructions. You cook frozen wings for 45-50 minutes and they’re not going to be crispy. Mix the hot sauce with the butter and put it over the wings. Bake for 45 minutes. Turn, bake another 30-45 minutes. Get the actual flavor baked in and not some barely cooked garbage wing with some heart burn on top.
Fresh wings taste a lot better. Obviously change the cooking times.
I blame King Soopers or Kroger. Yvette would not make this mistake unless the sponsors gave her bad advice.
Yum I’ve been craving wings. I wish I had been at your SB party. Making my mouth water. I’ll take them with the fuego, hot. They look so delicious.
